I’m hoping to learn how to do my own alterations. Nothing terribly difficult, but I’d like to learn and grow in the skill. Do you know of any blogs, websites, tutorials, etc. that I can reference to learn more?

i am not sure about alteration specifically, but two blogs pop into my mind:

http://www.extrapetite.com/
because they are petite, they often need alteration. so their site may have some info you are interested in.
burdastyle.com is a great website for sewing in general!
